 The Gold Crown Championship cars did demonstration laps during the Milwaukee and Iowa Indycar weekends in anticipation of the series debut in 2012. The cars were well received and created excitement among drivers, owners, and fans. Photos taken during the All-American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association Banquet at the Chip Ganassi Racing Indianapolis Race Shop have been posted in the photo section. The Gold Crown Championship Car will once again be on display at the American Auto Racing Writers & Broadcasters Association Awards Banquette on Sunday January 9, 2011. The banquette is being held at Chip Ganassi Racing Teams Indianapolis Headquarters. The Gold Crown Championship Car will be displayed along with the Tony Steward’s Championship winning USAC Silver Crown car driven by Levi Jones & Chip Ganassi’s Championship winning Indycar driven by Dario Franchitti. The Gold Crown Championship Car Demonstration Track Debut at Toledo Speedway on October 16 was an overwhelming success. Universal praise for the car design and series concept was heard from fans, series, and press in attendance. Drivers Brian Tyler and Dave Darland drove several demonstration laps around the speedway. Gold Crown Championship Racers From Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota to debut during demonstration scheduled at Toledo Speedway for October 16. Read more about it in the press releases section. The Devon Race Cars Chassis has been drawn in computer aided design software, an image of the chassis and Gold Crown bodywork can be found in the chassis section. High quality computer design renders of each of the engine manufactures has been posted in the photo section. Each of the Engine Manufactures have their own specific nose to help fans easily identify their favorite car brand on track. Five Star Race Car Bodies created the molds and part layup for the car. Both companies did a great job and are dedicated to helping the Gold Crown Championship. The car will be on display at the Five Star Bodies Booth Number 4501. Visit the Gold Crown Championship Display at the IMIS Indy Trade Show at Booth Number 1141 and see the Hemelgarn Johnson RE Technologies Gold Crown Car on Display. Five Star Bodies will be displaying the Team 6R Gold Crown Car at Peninsula 935. The Gold Crown Championship race car series has agreed that Goodyear will be the circuit's Official Tire. Read More |
